William (Bill) DeZeeuw

McBain— Willian (Bill) DeZeeuw, age 83, of McBain passed away at his home, September 18, 2018. Bill was born on February 21, 1935 to Peter and Tillie (Bolhuis) DeZeeuw. Bill married Donna Wyma at the Lucas Rehoboth Reformed Church, September 15, 1984. Bill was a store owner and a meat salesman for Peet Packing and Little Town Jerky. He loved to follow all the sports his family was involved in. He also enjoyed camping, traveling, loved to hunt, and fish. He served as deacon and elder at Rehoboth and served 12 years on the school board at McBain Public Schools. Bill is survived his wife Donna DeZeeuw, children; Timothy (Ronda) DeZeeuw, Tamara (Don) Spaulding, step-daughters; Wendy (Michael) Derrick, Stacie (Phil) Dennis, Julie (Michael) Kitson, Heidi (Mark) Olmstead, grandchildren; Derek (Krisann), Brooke (Tina-Marie), Corey (Brittany) Terryce, Tallie, Amanda (Josh), Jordan (Katlin), Jonah, Kyle (Jenn) Kelsey, Kortney, Tyler, Alanna (Matthew) Hunter, Aleah, Kaden, Marah, Ella, Griffiin, great-grandchildren; Conner, Hayden, Blake, Blair, Owen, Ganden, Ava, Mason, Jackson, Wyatt, Parker, Quinn, Jada, brother; Richard (Carol) DeZeeuw, Inlaws; David (Annette) Rogers, Richard (Pamela) Rogers, Linda (David) Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents; Peter and Tillie (Bolhuis) DeZeeuw, mother and father in-law; Orley and Marjorie Rogers, son; Terry, brother and sister in-law; Peter and Lois DeZeeuw. Funeral service will held on Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lucas Rehoboth Reformed Church with Rev. Kevin Schutt officiating. Visitation will be Friday at the Rehoboth Church from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00P.M. with a visitation one hour prior of the services. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial at Mount View Cemetery in McBain. Contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
