Cousin Edie was a lifelong person for me. We called her Aunt Edie when we were young - because we did not think she could be our cousin. I've been visiting her as a Hospice of Michigan volunteer for several years at Quiet Creek. She always had things to talk about - from the trees outside her window, the deer who also walked by - reviewing with me on a regular basis - the updates on kids and grandkids and how much she like M&M's with peanut cores. She is will be greatly missed by me and I am sending her hugs, kisses and prayers for her journey to Heaven.

Your Mother and Dad were such great neighbors, living just across the street while we kids were growing up. I especially remember Sunday afternoon lunches, with lemonade and some kind of sweet treat on the picnic tables in our back yards. Your parents were always there for my parents, lending a hand or giving encouragement when needed. I remember your Mom's beautiful smile. My prayers are for God's comfort and peace in her passing.
