Obituary For Laura Anne Sluiter

Laura Anne Sluiter age 51 of McBain, passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2024 in Benzie County. She was born to Alan and Jackie (Boven) Iler on January 7, 1973 in Cadillac. Laura married Marty Sluiter on June 22, 1991 in Lucas, MI.

Laura was working for Cadillac Family Healthcare as a medical assistant. She enjoyed doing yardwork, gardening, shopping and having her nails done. She was also so excited that she was going to be a first-time grandmother this year.

She is survived by her husband Marty J. Sluiter of McBain, her daughter Katelyn LeeAnne Sluiter of McBain, her mother Jackie Iler of Falmouth, father Alan Iler of McBain, in-laws Rusty (Bonnie) Sluiter of McBain, brother in-law Rusty Jay (Candize) Sluiter of McBain, and many other relatives as well as special friends Jamie Cornelius of Cadillac and Toby Potter of Cadillac.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

Per Laura’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. The family is being served by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain. Thoughts and prayers can be expressed to the family by visiting the online obituary at burkholderfamilyfuneralhome.com.
