Vicki Gail Dorland age 74 of Cadillac, passed away on December 13, 2025 at Munson Healthcare-Cadillac Hospital. She was born on March 17, 1951 in Cadillac to William and Bonnie (Billett) Dorland. She married Jens Otto Rick on May 4, 2018 in Big Rapids and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2023.

Vicki received her bachelor degree in science from Baker College and worked for 25 years in medical records at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac and retired in 2010. She loved being a mom and grandmother and spending family time together. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and cooking. She was an online member of the Cadillac Church of the Nazarene.

Vicki is survived by her children; Joshua Havens of San Antonio, Texas and Jennifer (Christopher) Dushane of Cadillac, grandchildren; Veronica Hanna, Zander Hanna, Sterling Havens, Lillian Dushane, Gabriel Dushane and Maverick Dushane, expected great granddaughter due to arrive in March, Eden Rose Kimbel, and siblings; Steve Dorland of Tennessee and Connie (Larry) Eling of McBain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Diane Hall, William Dorland, and Gary Dorland.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain. A private family funeral service will be held with Reverend Gil Thibault officiating with burial in the Mount View Cemetery in McBain.
