T. Chad Crouch age 47 of Linden passed away at his home on April 2, 2023. He was born on August 18, 1975 to Thomas Charles and Debra Kay (VanHaitsma) Crouch.
Chad worked as an engineer and manager in plastic molds. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fenton where he was active in Christian Resource International and Forgotten Harvest. He enjoyed fishing and visiting at nursing homes and at the home of widows and widowers.
He is survived by his parents; Thomas C and Deborah K. VanHaitsma of Linden, daughter; Madison (special friend Jason) Metzelburg of Holly, grandchildren; Payton Ashley, Bennett Ashley, Caroline Ashley of Holly, Ensley Metzelburg and Leland Metzelburg all of Grand Blanc. He also has a stepdaughter, Jessica Pettis of Ohio, one sister, Tammy (Chris) Taylor of Holly, three brothers, Chris, Matt, and Emerson and numerous nieces and nephews along with 2 uncles and two aunts, Catherine (Dave) Quilliam of McBain and Shirley (Chuck) Graham of Interlochen.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, stepson, Tyler Metzelburg, and uncle, John “Dan” Crouch.
Services will be held on April 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church at Fenton with Pastor James Bell and deacon Mark Zaiser officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. at the church prior to the funeral service. A luncheon will follow at the church. Burial will take place in the Falmouth Cemetery.
