Steven Alex Nickoloff age 79 of Flint passed away at his home in Flint on November 26, 2024. He was born on July 30, 1945 in Flint to Alex and Elaine (Blaine) Nickoloff. He was married to Elaine French from 1966 until 1988 in Cadillac and she preceded him in death on April 2, 2020. He married Caroline Sweet in 2008 to the present.

Steve had attended Holy Redeemer School in Burton and graduated from Atherton High School. He had traveled the world over and enjoyed water skiing, working out, diving, and enjoyed motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife; Caroline Sweet of Baltimore, Maryland, children; Brian (Lisa) Nickoloff of Grand Blanc, Tony J. Nickoloff of Flint, Chad Nickoloff of Flint and Cory Nickoloff of Burton, grandchildren; Naomi (Tim) Smith of Prudenville, Briana Nickoloff of Flint, Desarie (Bryce) Stowell of McBain, Brandon Nickoloff of Flint, Carson Peasley of North Carolina, Alex Nickoloff of Davison, Hannah Nickoloff of North Carolina, Kailey Nickoloff of Flint and Samantha of North Carolina, great grandchildren; Alana Davidson, Landon Mishler, Greyson Misher, Payton Smith and Jackson Smith, and siblings; Gary Nickoloff of Texas and Susan Heiman of Grand Blanc.

He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law; Heather Nickoloff and a brother-in-law; Fred Heiman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 P.M. at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain and visitation will be on Monday from noon until time of service. Rev. Steve Boven will officiate and burial will be in the Lucas Cemetery. Following burial a luncheon will be held at the funeral home.
