Shirley Ann Deuel age 80 of Evart, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2024 after a lengthy illness battle. She was born January 4, 1944 in Ovid, MI to J.C. and Francis (Blaha) Heath. She married Vernon Deuel on June 4, 1966 in Mt. Morris, MI.

Shirley loved bird watching, mowing her lawn, and spending time with her family. She was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed seeing Jake Slater the Elvis impersonator on many occasions.

She is survived by her children; J.C. (Gloria) Deuel, Cynthia Littlefield, Wayne (Holly) Deuel, Brian (Bunny) Kinch, Kimberly Tripp (Robert Blackledge), grandchildren; J.C. Jr. (Mary Ann) Deuel, Nicole (Jakob) Mattson, Tasha (Wesley) Privett, Jarca (Calob) Kozlowski, Nikkie Deuel, Timothy Littlefield, Jessica Deuel, Atlanta Deuel, Shawna Tripp, Trestan Deuel, Kylie Tripp, Bunny Kinch, Travis Eisenga, Breeanna Kinch, Zachary Deuel, Gabriel Deuel, Marcus Deuel, and Brandy Kinch as well as numerous great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon Deuel, son Vernon James Deuel, son in-law Jim Littlefield, brothers Terry Heath and J.C. Heath Jr.

Funeral services will take place 11:00 AM Thursday, October 31 at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain with Rev. Steve Boven officiating. A luncheon will be provided after the service at the River Junction Restaurant in Hersey. Memorial contributions can be made out to the family.
