Ryan Dean Holcom, a lifelong resident of Dighton, Michigan, passed away, in his home, sometime after two o’clock, we believe, on November 29, 2025. He was 58. Ryan was born on Tuesday, August 15, 1967 in Cadillac Michigan. He graduated from Marion High School in 1986.
Ryan served two years in the United States Army. He attended the 1988 Summer Olympic Games, in Seoul South Korea, where he was stationed. Upon returning from the army Ryan worked at Avon Rubber and Plastics for almost 20 years. Ryan loved all sports and spent many summer days in his youth playing baseball with brothers, cousins, and friends. He also enjoyed time at his grandpa and grandma’s farm, except being chased by grandma’s rooster. Ryan was an avid fan of the Lions, Red Wings and Tigers, even attending Red Wings games at “The Joe” with his dad. He loved the outdoors, lakes, rivers, bon fires, hunting, and especially fishing.
Ryan is survived by his brother Craig (Kari) Holcom of Grand Haven, Michigan, his sister Tina (Gary) Campbell of St. Joseph Island, Ontario, Canada, his brother William Holcom of Dighton, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
