Obituary For Richard Lee Hill

Richard Lee Hill age 86 of Lake City, passed away on March 15, 2025 at Munson Healthcare-Cadillac Hospital. He was born on January 11, 1939 in Jennings to Hugo and Anne (Helsel) Hill.

Richard worked as a logger and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richard was proud of being a US Army Veteran.

Richard is survived by his significant other; Nancy Warren Gibson of Lake City, sons; Steven Hill and Stacey (Kari) Hill both of Lake City, stepson; Sterling Hill of Lake City, grandchildren; Caitlin Stapleton of Traverse City, Brandon Hill of Lake City, Abby Hill, Morgan Hill, and Trenton Hill all of Traverse City, great grandchildren; Madeline Stapleton and Jada Stapleton both of Traverse City and siblings; Louie Hill of Lake City and Barb Hill of Manton.

He was preceded in death by his siblings; Bob Hill, Raymond Hill, Kenny Hill, Shirley Eising, and infant sister Norma Hill.

Memorial services will take place later with military graveside services at the Oak Grove Cemetery at Jennings. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain. Thoughts and prayers may be left at www.burkholderfunerals.com
