Obituary For Kenneth Wayne Low

Kenneth Wayne Low, age 89 of Merritt, passed away on Thursday, April 10 at his home surrounded by his family.

Kenneth Wayne Low was a man of many lives, but his favorite was with his family.

You would often find him in his cowboy hat with his handlebar mustache collecting his favorite antiques. He lived his life with no regrets. He was married and devoted to his high school sweetheart for 70 years Margie (Davis) Low. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his grandkids.

He was born and raised down by the Low bridge in Holland Township. Ken and Margie lived in Detroit for 21 years, then moved up North to his families Christmas tree farm, to raise their family. He was known by many titles, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend, he was also a veteran, tree farmer and an inventor. He was known for his integrity, dignity, strength and love for God and his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Margie Mae Low, three beautiful daughters Laurie Marie Rhodes, Michele J. Fox, Ida (Carl) VandenBoss, brother Leon Low, grandkids; Brooke (Ken) Aernouts, Emilee (Drew) Wilson, Aqua Wilson, Taylor (Nick) Crane, Kenneth (Melanie) VandenBoss, Derrick VandenBoss, 3 step grandkids, Alice Rhodes, Patrick Rhodes, and Cathryn Rhodes, great-grandchildren; Chase, Bella, Bear, Brie, Juniper, Oliver, Blayke, Holland, Sam, Nora, Julian, and Job, and his faithful companion Duke along with so many adopted family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Gladys Low, sisters Helen, Virginia, Margaret, and Phyllis.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on June 7 at the Moddersville Reformed Church. visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of services. A luncheon will be served after the service.
