Obituary For Jaqueline E. DeJack

Jacqueline DeJack, age 85 of Marion passed away on November 7, 2023 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born on October 9, 1938 in St. Louis, MO to John and Marjorie Williams.

Beloved Mother of John DeJack and Jennifer Williams Grandmother of: Alex DeJack, Brandon DeJack, Ryan DeJack, Jacob DeJack, Heather DeJack, Christopher Williams and Melissa Williams Great grandmother of: Paige Bobon, Olivia Bobon, Jaymison Williams, and Kimberly Williams Jackie was known for her kindness helping many people in her journey through life. She assisted several when they were homeless giving them shelter. She was creative and did portraits, she received her master’s degree at the age of 75 and was in the honors society. She worked in Real Estate and had her Broker’s license for many years. Jacqueline loved poetry and could recite poetry off the top of her head. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain, visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Park Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made out to Hospice of Michigan.     I will miss this kind soul. Jackie was a great person who loved everyone. She was sweet and funny and kind to everyone she met. So glad she made that video for me before she passed telling me she always loved me. The feeling was very mutual . You will be missed but we know it was your time.
