Jacqueline Kay Turnblom of McBain passed away peacefully at home Saturday March 29 after a courageous cancer battle at the age of 69. Born November 22, 1955 in Cadillac Michigan to the late John and Myrle Nelson, she was Youngest of 13.
She was a beloved Mother, Grandma, and Great Grandma whose world revolved around them. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and loyal dog Trixie, playing Bingo for many years, watching wrestling with her grandchildren, and putting together puzzles.
Survivors include her children Tike (Angie) Turnblom of Cadillac, Mary (Bill) Fisk of Crystal, Tracy (Tim) Groesser of McBain, Steven Yager of Cadillac. Grandchildren Billy Fisk of Greenville, Kirstie (Kenny) Aspgren of Cadillac, Ricky Turnblom of Cadillac, Nadia (Andy) Hamilton of Falmouth, Natalie and Logan Groesser of McBain. Great Grandchildren Hailey, Ashlyn, Ella, Zaylee, Jace, Ember, Payton, Paige and Max. Sisters Carol and Pauline Freese both of Cadillac.
She was preceded in death by late husband Richard Turnblom (1975), life partner Steve Yager (2021), sisters; Helen Duncan, Nancy Shoop, June Dawson, Beverly Roth, Katie Giffels, Baby Judy and brothers; Michael Nelson, Johnny Nelson, Elmer Falor, and Gordy Falor
Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a small private family service will be held at a later date. The family extends their sincere gratitude to Munson Hospice for all of their compassionate care and support.
