Donald Chester David age 51 of Lake City, passed away following a Tiger baseball game in Detroit on May 12, 2023. He was born on January 8, 1972 in West Branch to Donald D. and Ruth A. (Heaton) David.

Donald had worked for Stone Material Handling as a heavy equipment operator. He had also worked for a time for the Little Blessings Dairy Farm. He loved to irritate people, enjoyed his Corvette and Camaro, John Deere Tractors, was an avid Tiger’s fan, excelled at bowling, and was a jokester.

He is survived by his parents, Donald and Ruth David of Lake City, his sister, Deanna Pleiman of Lake City and his nephews, Thomas Pleiman and Timothy Pleiman both of Lake City. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle.

Funeral services will be held at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
