Obituary For Daniel "Bo" Lewis Klein

Daniel Lewis Klein left this earth on March 10, 2025 to be with his Lord and heavenly family after years of fighting recurring prostrate cancer. Daniel was 77 years old, born April 1st, 1947 to Daniel H. and Viola A. (Cartwright) Klein in Ann Arbor, MI and grew up on the family farm in Bridgewater, MI. After graduating from Saline Schools, he entered the skilled trades earning his journeyman license in heating and air conditioning. He worked with several area mechanical contractors before opening his own heating business in Saline; “Bo’s Heating”. In 1985 he joined the University of Michigan skilled trades department and retired after 25 years of service in 2010. Daniel loved to work but still found time to pursue his passion of scuba diving not only locally but traveled all over the world to dive and experience the wonders of nature under the water. He also enjoyed auctions and estate sales looking for “the deal of the century". In 1992 he established a summer place on the Clam River. He hand-built a log home on this property in McBain where he has permanently resided since 2012.

Blending their families together on December 30th, 1986, Daniel married Linda (Radenbaugh) Wilfinger. Daniel leaves behind his wife Linda, his children and grandchildren; Sean (Kelly) Klein, Austin, Grace, Charlotte, & Hunter; Tiffany Klein (Steve) Bardsley, Jack; Joel (Pauline) Radenbaugh, Morgan. Sisters, Cindy (Jerral) Thompson, Dr. Kathy (Brian) Keebaugh, brothers, Ruben (Vicki) Klein, Randy (Dawn) Klein.

Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. followed by graveside services at the Falmouth Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. Reverend David Keller will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan. Arrangements are being handled by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain.
