Clayton James Routheaux Jr 65 of Cadillac, Michigan passed away May 8, 2024 at Autumnwood Nursing Home of McBain, Michigan after a lengthy and hard battle of COPD. Clayton spent one night at the Nursing home after being reported unresponsive in his home by Hospice. Clayton Graduated from Evart High School and did his Basic training in the Army, he was employed by Four Winns of Cadillac.

Clayton James Routheaux Jr was born March 14, 1959 to Clayton SR and Shirley (Eaton) Routheaux. Clayton was married to the Late Rachelle Clawson, there were no children from this marriage. Clayton is the son of the Late Clayton James Routheaux Sr, he also had a brother Lee Allan Routheaux who preceded him in death in 2000.

Survivors include his mother Shirley Pope, Step Father David Pope, Sisters, Delores Routheaux, Pamela Walter and 1 brother Christopher Routheaux, 10 Nieces and nephews Clayton was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt both bow and rifle, his most relaxing hobby was being out in the woods. As per his wishes, cremation will take place and his ashes will be laid to rest in back of the family home in Evart next to an Oak tree he planted 4 years ago.
