Billy Dale Carroll, age 63 of Marion, passed away on November 19, 2025 at his brother’s home in Marion after suffering a severe stroke a few weeks ago. Billy was born on December 13, 1961 in Maryville, MO to Curtis and Arlene (Parker) Carroll. He married Lynne Renee Ritchison on December 8, 1979 in Superior, Wyoming, she preceded him in death on August 8, 2024.

Billy was a member of the Marion Eagles #4087 for many years. He was a fan of NASCAR but his passion for Detroit Tigers baseball was unmatched. He played billiards for many years in Marion on multiple teams. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending his summers with his wife at Rose Lake.

Billy is survived by his children; Amber (Tony) VanAssche of Howell and Billy Jr. (Tiffany) Carroll of Gowen, grandchildren; Matthew Carroll and Jackson Carroll both of Gowen, siblings Dick (Dorothy) Carroll, Christine (Kenny) Nielson of Missouri and Donald (Peggy) Carroll of Marion, mother in-law Carmen Ritchison of Winter Haven, FL, in-laws Cindy Anderson of Lake Alfred, FL and Rick (Cindy) Ritchison of Babson Park Florida, David Ritchison of Iowa, and Terri Carroll of MO, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Arlene Carroll, siblings Vern Carroll, Vonnie Carroll, Ronnie Carroll, father in-law Richard Ritchison and brothers in-law Kevin Ritchison and Andy Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Marion Eagles #4087 at 3:00-6:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Funeral arrangements are being taken care of by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain and thoughts and prayers may be left at www.burkholderfunerals.com
