Allen Lee Ankney, age 23 of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2024 at his home in Marion. Allen was born on April 13, 2001 in Cadillac to Jason Ankney and Abby Etchason.

Allen was a lover of all things outdoor; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed playing and listening to music, was a very talented drawer and wood carver. He cherished his time spent with his kids and family.

Allen is survived by his children Matthew and Raine Ankney, fiancé Audrey Sparks, his parents Jason Ankney and Abby (Larry) Diem, siblings; Jason Etchason-Ankney, Anthony Ankney, Alaysia Ankney, and Kinsley Ankney, grandparents Floyd (Shiela) Ankney and Bernadine Etchason, many aunts and uncles as well as cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa Michael Etchason, great grandparents Floyd and Thersea Ankney, and cousin Natasha Beebe.

A benefit will be held at The Venue in Marion on February 1, 2025 from 2:00PM-5:00PM with a silent auction being held immediately after 5:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
