Funeral Service:

John and Donna Heuker

Our thoughts and prayers to you all as you say farewell for now to your Mom. It has been our joy to get to know and love Gerry these last 8 months at the Harbor with our Mom, Gert Winkel. We saw her witness of her Lord and Savior as she sang all the old familiar church hymns, every verse, and recited Psalm 23 and the Lord's prayer, even as she sometimes had nodded off to sleep in her wheelchair. She loved the church services there. She always had a smile when we talked with her and a bit of a mischievious smirk when a joke was told. TRUELY A DELIGHT AND WE WILL MISS HER GREATLY. Love, Gert Winkel, John and Donna Heuker, Doug and Diane Joppie.
