Bernadine Agnes Osborn

Bernadine Agnes Osborn age 79, of Cadillac, passed away at Autumnwood of McBain on Wednesday May 30, 2018. She was born on March 12, 1939 at Cadillac to Robert & Greta (Koetje) Hoekwater. She married Bruce Osborn on Oct. 17, 1958 in Vogel Center and he preceded her in death on March 8, 1998. She had been a cook at the Falmouth School System and was known for her cinnamon rolls, and had driven school bus. She was a dedicated church goer and she liked going to Lake Superior to look for rocks, going for rides, crocheting, knitting, sewing and gardening, wee bowling and doing puzzles. She made the coffee and tea in the morning at the Harbor View Apartments. She loved her family and everyone loved her. She is survived by her children, Cindy Falkenstein of Cadillac and Scott Osborn of Grand Rapids. She is survived by her grandchildren, Dustin, Nicole, Adam, Krysta, and Bryce. She has one great grandchild, Noah Elford and a sister in law, Esther Hoekwater of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank and Eleanore Hoekwater, Willie and Grace Hoekwater, Margaret (John) Kok, and Carl Hoekwater. A luncheon will be held Saturday, June 9 from 12:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at Harbor View Apartments in Cadillac. Burial will be in the Sylvan Township Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain. Contributions may be made to the funeral home.
