Mrs. DeRuiter (as she will always be in my mind and heart) was an unparalleled and compassionate teacher. It has been said, "No one cares how much you know until one knows how much you care." We could all learn from Mrs. DeRuiter because we knew she cared for every individual in her classroom. I believe as she was gathered to Glory, there will be stars in her crown. Blessings to family who mourn her passing and celebrate her entry into heaven.
